DoylesRoom Review
|
Doyle Brunson is one of the biggest names in poker and opened his own online poker
room in 2004. |
|
Since then DoylesRoom
has changed networks a number of times; early in 2011 it moved to the Yatahay network, one
that continues to accept US players.
DoylesRoom offer a variety of Hold'em, Omaha and Stud games
in the usual betting limits and formats. In addition they host
3Card Poker and 32Card Draw Poker. Cash tables attract reasonable
numbers, but tournament figures remain relatively low.
|
 |
Before DoylesRoom
joined the Yatahay network, peak time network traffic barely saw
100 real money cash table players connected per hour; following
the move, that number increased to 400 cash table players at
peak times.
From the lobby
The contemporary lobby design is well thought out with simple
navigation to quickly get you seated at your familiar ring game.
When clicking the 'Tournament' tab a separate lobby opens giving
a fuller view of what's on offer.
Tournaments
Player numbers for their scheduled tournaments are still a little
on the low side, but this can have the positive effect that you will
quickly learn how others play by meeting them on regular occasions and
the events will not take too long to complete. The take-up for sit and go
tournaments is picking up and will continue to grow with the
site.
Ring games
During peak times there are enough low/medium stake players at the
Texas Hold'em cash games to give players a choice of tables. Off
peak is much quieter; Omaha and Stud players
will have to pick their moments.
At the table
The new software is top class; stylish, stable and glitch free.
Resizable tables, with a choice of themes, have clearly marked
action buttons for when the chips go into the pot and a very
good hand replay screen tells a tale if they come out in the
wrong direction.
Bonuses
First time depositors are offered a 100% bonus paid out in increments
of $10 for every 100 qualified raked hands played within 40 days of
their first deposit. |
