Alternative glossary of poker terms

	Bluff	standard poker play with any two cards.
	Buy-in	your weekly wage.
	Caller	any player in a micro game.
	Chase	standard poker play with any two cards.

	Community card	an ace on the board that five players bet they’ve hit.
	Continuation bet	damn I’ve missed.

	Down to the felt	head-butting the table when your nut flush is outdrawn.
	Drawing dead	if you call and hit your one outer… I will kill you.
	Duplicate	suffering the same suck-out as in the last hand.
	Early position	the best seat to raise pre-flop with 7-2 off suit.
	Expectation value	betting and expecting a call with trash to overtake you.
	Extra blind	when you see the flush but still believe your trips are any good.
	Final table	this is the last time I’m ever going to play poker.
	Flushed	your embarrassed expression when all players check to the river, revealing what a trash hand you just played.
	Fold equity	the amount of time spent doubled over in a corner that is directly proportional to the amount lost when not folding AA pre-flop.
